Project as a Whole

Riley Patenaude 12/9/22 CMM 110 Jesse Miller Project #3 As A Whole I have learned a lot from this project as a whole, whether that be how to interview someone; be an interviewer; and most importantly what questions to ask in each role. Reflection after Interviews

Reflection after Interviews

Journal #25: Today I thought that the interview process went well, I feel like my team as well as team HUH did great as both the candidates and the committee. I wasn’t prepared to interview all of the members of team HUH but my team worked together and accomplished four interviews! I am also super proud of myself for what I accomplished during my time as an interviewee, I am not the best at coming up with things on the…

Reflection after dry-run interviews

Reflection after dry-run interviews

Journal #24: I feel like the practice interviews from today were very helpful. I liked how I got to observe and watch what both the candidates and committee members did during the interview process. I took notes on both groups who did it as well as notes on the pros and cons of what each candidate and committee member did that I noticed. Looking back on these notes while I prepare is important because I have to be interviewed next…

Under the preferred section in key competencies it states that we should be familiar with at least one other language, how strict are you when it comes to that? I noticed according to your…

My Role in the JD Creation

My Role in the JD Creation

To answer the first question, my role for this portion was that we used my job description. Neither of my group members had there’s completed so we thought we should just use mine. I don’t feel confident in my job description just because I’ve never written one before so I’m not sure how great it actually is. I also feel like everyone did the assignment differently so I don’t know if mine is the correct way or not. Now looking…

Project #3

Project #3

During this project we will be working on how to write and develop job descriptions, we will learn how to give an interview, be an interviewee, as well as be an observer to it all. We will be able to think about questions each role could ask, as well as drafting a letter of rejection and ranking the candidates from a rubric with a scale. And finally submitting our final thoughts either in a paper or through a video.
